Do you take insurance?
Short Answer
Chambers Clinic operates as an out-of-network practice. We don’t bill insurance directly, but we provide documentation that many patients use to seek partial reimbursement from their insurer, HSA, or FSA.
Why We’re Out of Network
Insurance reimbursement structures are designed around short visits and a narrow set of billable services. They don’t accommodate the kind of in-depth, integrative care our patients come to us for — long initial consultations, careful follow-up, and access to therapies that insurance often doesn’t cover anyway. Operating out of network lets us spend the time each patient needs and offer the full range of treatments without insurance-driven constraints.
What This Means for You
- Payment at the time of service: Visits and services are paid at the time of care.
- Superbills available: On request, we provide a detailed receipt (a ‘superbill’) with diagnosis and service codes. You can submit this to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
- HSA and FSA eligible: Most of our services are eligible for payment from a Health Savings Account or Flexible Spending Account.
- Labs and imaging: When we order labs or imaging through outside providers, those are often billed through your insurance directly.
What Insurance Typically Does and Doesn’t Cover
Coverage varies significantly by plan. Many patients receive partial reimbursement for office visits and lab work. Specialized services such as peptide therapy, regenerative procedures, and GLP-1 medications are less consistently covered and are often considered out-of-pocket expenses.
How to Check Your Benefits
Call the member services number on your insurance card and ask:
- ‘Do I have out-of-network benefits for naturopathic medicine?’
- ‘What is my out-of-network deductible, and how much have I met?’
- ‘What percentage of out-of-network office visits do you reimburse?’
- ‘How do I submit a superbill for reimbursement?’
Transparency on Cost
We aim to be straightforward about pricing. Before any major service, we’ll walk through what it costs so you can decide with full information.
