Human MSCs for Traumatic Brain Injury Recovery in Rats

This animal study investigates how human mesenchymal stem cells can help recovery after traumatic brain injury. The researchers found that the MSCs secreted neurotrophic factors — molecules that support neuron survival — and inhibited programmed cell death in the injured brain.

The findings reinforce the potential of MSC-based therapy for brain injury patients and contribute to the growing case for regenerative neurological care.
