MSC-Derived Exosomes for Erectile Function After Artery Injury

This preclinical study tested whether mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes could improve erectile function in animals with artery injury. The researchers found that exosomes helped reduce oxidative stress damage in the corpus cavernosum, the erectile tissue of the penis.

The findings suggest a possible regenerative therapy for men with erectile dysfunction caused by vascular damage. This is an emerging area of exosome research with promising clinical implications.
